__ a new beginning*

moving to oakbank was a hard decision. I really wanted to move but i didn't want to leave my friends behind and start over. It meant alot to my parents that i said yes and i was actually sort of looking forward to starting new. I will probably never forget my first day of school at SMS. I was so nervous and on top of that i missed my bus and was late for school. My sister walked me into the gym to find out where my homeroom was. The gym teacher was very nice and said she would walk me to the classroom. When we arrived there everyone was already seated and chatting. The teacher introduced me and asked me to take a seat. I remember trying not to stare at anyone but everything was so new to me. Taylor was the first one to offer me a seat with her and since it was the last seat i had to take it. Taylor was really nice and introduced me to the rest of the gang :) I met my future best friend Jessica Nagy and i remeber thinking that she was going to be a huge "snob." But she turned out to be just like me, just what i needed. I met Tessa (another one of my best friends), Derek and Kaitlin they were also really welcoming. The rest of the day i stayed to myself because i didn't know what else to do. I was still too nervous to talk to anyone else. Now that i look back onto the situation i wish i would have been less quiet and showed people who i was because it would have been alot easier. I love my friends here, now and i guess you could say that everything turned out o.k. i still miss my friends from my old school very very much, but we still hang out and play soccer together.
